Exercise Debrief: Managing a Major Power Outage
The second day of the training is built around an interactive hands-on scenario analysis in which participants are confronted with a major outage. 
The Scenario
A large city is threatened by a severe weather event that is forecasted to produce heavy conditions. Two of the city power company’s major assets – the local power station and the nearby sub-station that distributes power to both the city and the surrounding areas are threatened.
In this highly interactive environment participants will apply their skills and lessons learned to structure emergency actions to prevent risks and damages as well as develop alternative plans to prepare for various emergency scenarios.
In an escalating situation, delegates will be tasked to:
